Goals Goals Goals

Well, an update to my 30 day challenge...

I have not so much as thought about pop (besides saying no to it) since I started the challenge. The pops part has been very easy. My brother Dusty said that he heard of a professional basketball player that had been drinking (1) 12 ounce Mountian Dew a day, and once he stopped he ended up losing around 20 pounds. Dusty either made that up to inspire me, or the guy lied about how much Mountain Dew he was drinking...

10 days in I was at a nice dinner with Ann, and decided it would be out of place to just drink water, so I endulged and had a couple beers. I have drank a couple times socially, but as with any goal/challenge, I have made progress and moved forward. It is not always vital to 'hit the mark,' especially in personal development. It is important that you improve though, and the first step is always thinking about what you would like to change, set a goal, then figure out the steps or sub goals you would need to attain to hit the larger goal.

I am going to a new hot yoga studio, as my 30 day unlimited pass expired from the last studio, and I want to check out other places in my area. Yoga has been very fun, and it gives me a reason to wake up early. The nice thing about the new studio I go to is that they have early morning classes Monday thru Friday starting at 6:00 AM or 6:30 AM. Yesterday was my first day and the class was a Power Yoga class. That stuff is intense. Kicked my butt. Really good for me as it felt like there was lots of lower body stretch, which is my tight area.

As far as the Indoor Arena goes, I will probably get a desk today. My office is complete, and I believe the final inspection is taking place as I type. If it is, I am going in, heading to get a new desk, and getting my 'personal space' set up. I will also be sealing up the last of the tarps today. The tarps look very good and I am glad they are almost done. I will post some pictures if I get some time. Along with that, the Broadway shop should be 70% moved or so by the end of the day. Hoping to be operating the store section of the new facility by Friday.

Anyways, if you read this I hope things are going good for you and you have a great week.

Danny

  1. Awesomeness! I'm glad to see that the arena is going so well! Maybe we'll swing by later.
